Dr. Pat Cullan began practicing law on January 1, 2000 and in the time since has found numerous successes while representing catastrophically injured clients. Dr. Cullan is a physician/trial lawyer and graduated from Creighton Prep High School in Omaha, Nebraska (Cum Laude, 1992), Santa Clara University (B.A., Cum Laude, 1996), and the University of San Diego School of Law (J.D., Cum Laude, 1999).
In his first trial together with his father, Daniel B. Cullan, M.D., J.D., he successfully obtained a record $6,700,000 verdict. Since then, he has recovered tens of millions of dollars in verdicts, including Nebraska’s largest ever wrongful death verdict.
Dr. Cullan is licensed to practice law in both California and Nebraska and is a member of the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, the American Association for Justice, and the Birth Trauma Litigation Group.
In addition to his legal education and training, Dr. Cullan graduated with honors in 2006 from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He also completed the Grosses Deutsches Sprachdiplom from the Goethe Institute in Germany and completed medical training programs in the United States, Germany, and Ireland. Dr. Cullan has also obtained a separate degree in Obstetrics, with training at the Waterford Regional Hospital and the Rotunda, which is the first all women’s hospital that specializes in obstetrics and gynecology.
Continued success has brought recognition for Dr. Patrick Cullan, including the American Jurisprudense Award for Contracts, inclusion in The National Trial Lawyers list of Nebraska’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and the invitation to be the guest speaker at the 2009 Inner Circle of Advocates annual meeting along with Dr. Joseph Cullan.
While at Santa Clara University, Dr. Cullan played football and rowed crew. In 1992 he was selected to the Nebraska All-State Football Team.
