The promising lives of four young women were lost last week in a head on collision outside of Omaha. According to the Lincoln Journal Star, all four women were 21 years of age. Three of them were current Creighton University students and the fourth was a former Creighton student.

The four young ladies were heading south on Route 77 in a small Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) when the driver swerved to avoid hitting a deer and veered into the oncoming northbound lane. They then collided, head on, with a larger SUV. The 60 year old driver of the other SUV survived and was transported via helicopter to a nearby hospital. All drivers and passengers involved were wearing seat belts.

If you're a parent, I'm sure your heart aches for the families of these young students. With all the miles of roadway in Nebraska, and all the drivers in the state, it's no surprise that traffic fatalities happen at a disturbing rate. If you've lost a loved one in a vehicle accident, you may be entitled to reimbursement for certain damages.

Families who’ve lost a loved one in a traffic accident need to consult an experienced wrongful death attorney. The Omaha law offices of Cullan & Cullan, LLC have successfully represented personal injury victims and their families for many years.
