Ryan Terril, Esq.

Ryan Terril has been tirelessly protecting the rights of victims of medical malpractice and personal injury for over 20 years. His work has earned him numerous accolades and awards, but the most rewarding aspect of his practice is the difference he has been able to make in so many lives turned upside down by catastrophic injuries.

Mr. Terril has been voted “Best of the Bar” and a Super Lawyer in Missouri by his peers from 2009 to 2019.

Education

Mr. Terril graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business. He then went on to graduate from the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Law. While still a law student, he clerked for Max VonErdsmannsdorff and then The Law Offices of Dr. Samuel K. Cullan and Associates. Dr. Sam Cullan immediately recognized that Mr. Terril not only had exceptional legal skills but that he had deep compassion for people who had been injured. Dr. Cullan hired Mr. Terril as a trial attorney upon his graduation.

Mr. Terril founded the Terril Law Firm in 1996. Over the past 22 years, he has continued to work with the Cullan Law Firm on dozens of medical malpractice or other serious injury trials. Mr. Terril and Dr. Sam Cullan hold the record for the largest medical malpractice verdict in Missouri related to birth injury/brachial plexus injury, and Mr. Terril holds another record for the largest verdict in a medical malpractice case related to a sponge being left behind in surgery.

Mr. Terril is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas, and he is a member of many distinguished legal organizations, including the American Association for Justice, Kansas Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, and the Clay County Bar Association.
